Students come back to Corvallis Campus for the 2016 P4 Seminar

On May 20th 2016, P4 students returned to the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis for the annual P4 Spring Seminar. Speakers covered a multitude of subjects to prepare the students for the last few weeks of their time as students, as well as guidance for life after graduation.

Those students who attended received PIC Training and Certification from the Oregon Board of Pharmacy (OBOP). Thank you to Fiona Karbowicz, OBOP Pharmacist Consultant and Cheryl Fox, OBOP Pharmacy Inspector for coming out to give our students this training.

Students were also given an informative law review from Joe Schnabel, Director of Pharmacy at Salem Hospital, in preparation for the NAPLEX and MPJE exams.

Students also workshopped the new OSU College of Pharmacy curriculum with Gary DeLander, Executive Associate Dean, Tanya Ostrogorsky, Director of Assessment and Faculty Development, and Juancho Ramirez, Assistant Dean of Experiential Education.
