Two luncheons were recently held to begin a new alumni group designed to engage women in the pharmacy profession to be involved with the college, our students, and each other. The group, fittingly named “Women in Pharmacy”, was created by two alumni, Susan Poole (’69) and Paige Clark (’85, Director of Alumni Relations and Professional Development).
The group discussed many ways in which they can increase involvement such as sponsoring white coats for incoming students, starting a mentorship program, and holding future Women in Pharmacy luncheons and events.
