Get Your CE Hours NOW

GET YOUR CE hours now—-30 hours of CE required to renew Oregon Pharmacist License in May, 2017

==========================================

As a reminder to our Oregon licensed alumni, the Oregon Board of Pharmacy has changed the pharmacist re-licensure timeframes from annual license renewal to a two year cycle. This requires submission of 30 hours of CE every two years, from the annual submission of 15 hours. These 30 hours must encompass 2 hours of law CE as well as 2 hours of Patient Safety CE. A licensee can have additional hours of either law or patient safety, but each licensee must have at least the minimum hours in those two categories. Oregon pharmacists will recall that the requirement for a certain number of therapeutic hours was removed and pharmacists are encouraged to obtain CE in whatever areas most closely align with their needs for professional development. This may be an opportunity for you to focus on an area of online programming or professional development that is of particular interest to you.

Several excellent opportunities to obtain CE are available now for pharmacists and technicians including the following:

2016 OSPA Annual Convention and Trade Show
