On the weekend of February 21-22, over 200 Pharmacists from all over the state of Oregon participated in the annual OSPA Lane County CE event in Eugene, OR.
OSU College of Pharmacy had a booth set up to showcase our available online CE programs and upcoming events, such as Apothecary Ball, for the college. This is one of the main CE events of the year for Pharmacists, students, Alumni, and faculty to learn what is going on in the world of Pharmacy while also getting their CE credits completed.

OSU College of Pharmacy was well represented at this year’s OSPA Lane County CE event through the sheer number of speakers and participants that were our faculty and alumni.
Faculty member, Jane Ishmael, PhD, spoke about the importance of “Medical Marijuana and the Pharmacology of Cannabinoids.” Fellow faculty member, Ali Olyaei, PharmD, gave a presentation on “JNC, ADA, ACC, … and Other Alphabetical Soups; What is in it for Me?” Both had eager attendees clamoring for a chance to ask questions and promote even further discussion.
