They are good for up to 5 days in the refrigerator, making them a great tool when meal preping before the next busy week begins.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reusable jar and lid that comes with the bag are meant to be washed and reused over and over as a tool in your kitchen. It can be used for storing leftovers, making a yogurt parfait, or pickling things (check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/beaverbag\/?p=181\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/beaverbag\/?p=181\">Pickled Carrots and Daikon<\/a> beaver bag). You can reheat leftover food in the jar in the microwave, however, do not microwave metal or plastic lid.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Contents in the bag are more than the 1 serving size recipe below. Please measure out ingredients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 serving<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u2153 cup old fashioned oats<\/li><li>\u00bc teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li><li>1 tablespoon chia seeds<\/li><li>1 tablespoon\/ 1 of the peanut butter to go cups<\/li><li>\u00bd cup almond\/oat milk for thick consistency<ul><li><strong>OR <\/strong>\u2154 cup almond\/oat milk for light consistency<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\u00bd cup frozen fruits<\/li><li>Half diced banana (add more if you wish)<\/li><li>1 packet of honey&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In provided jar add the oats, cinnamon, chia seeds, and peanut butter<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"412\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/4323\/files\/2022\/02\/Picture1-edited.jpg?resize=412%2C326&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-468\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/4323\/files\/2022\/02\/Picture1-edited.jpg?w=412&amp;ssl=1 412w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/4323\/files\/2022\/02\/Picture1-edited.jpg?resize=300%2C237&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Pour in a splash of milk to wet the mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Mix with a spoon so peanut butter is mixed with the oats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. It&#8217;s now ready to be enjoyed. Oats can be eaten chilled, or heated in the microwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can make a few jars or bowls or cups of overnight oats at once.
