After graduating with my Biology degree, I was hit with the post-grad blues and felt lost with my next step in life. Having the pandemic occur during this time didn&#8217;t really help either. I&#8217;m sure this was a universal experience during the pandemic but I had way too much time on hand and wanted to be more productive. Seeing that all my friends where already in the CS field and enjoy their careers, I figured why not? With little knowledge of coding and CS in general, I signed up to the OSU program with my naive logic being that if my friends enjoy CS then I would too. Eventually I did grow to appreciate and enjoy my journey with this program even if I did hit some turbulence at the beginning (turns out not knowing anything about coding makes it harder for you to code). Now that I&#8217;m close to the finish line, I plan on finding a career in this field to continue my pursuit in learning more (I feel like there&#8217;s still so much more to learn!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As my first blog post, I&#8217;ll begin with why I started studying in CS.
