The Journey so far is productive, enlightening and exciting. We have written the code for the gameplay in 2D and now we are trying to figure out how to translate that code into a 3D environment. Our team uses Discord to communicate and that has been successful in terms of sharing assets and research links. In the past week we have done a couple of commits to our repo. code integration is not the easiest and that is purely because we are still learning how to commit with Unity. Once we get through the learning curve this will be easy going forward.
Going into the next week I am hoping our team can learn how to implement a clean template for a 3D environment, with correct camera placement and invisible barriers so we can integrate our 2D gameplay code. Getting through this hump will, in my opinion, ensure we are on track to completing this project on time.
