My senior year of college, I was still undecided as to a major. I finally scrambled together enough courses to graduate as a Nutritional Sciences major, and didn’t even bother attending the graduation ceremony. After months of avoiding questions about what I was doing with my life, my mother made me sit down and take all sorts of career assessments In the hopes of guiding me in a general direction. Computer programming kept popping up again and again, so I wished for the best, and told everyone that I was going to pursue computer science as a career. What started simply as an answer to the question “What are you doing with your life” has morphed into something I genuinely enjoy and am passionate about. I cannot wait to see where this class and program takes me!
