I will be answering these four questions. What am I good at? What do I value? How did I get here? Where am I going? Hopefully, I will be able to get a better grasp of myself and look at how I can create a path that I can follow.

What Am I Good At?

When genuinely looking back at the things that I have been doing all my life and looking at what I am good at, I came to realize some things that I never really though of before. The first interesting thing that I am good at is working in stressful and tense situations. This is a double-edged sword. I work really efficiently when it comes to stressful situations, but when it comes to situations that are not as stressful, I tend to be a little lazy. That is why jobs that are always full of tense situations are great for me.

What do I value?

The thing that I value the most is giving everyone an equal chance for them to grow. I am from Hawaii and both of my parents are not from the U.S. This makes my a first generation college student. So I know the struggles that come with it. So my value is giving everyone a chance to grow regardless of who they are is really important to me.

How Did I Get Here?

I got to where I am by going out of my comfort zone and running into all the doors that are in front of me. I may have crashed into some of them, but I kept on going and going. Although, I did have a lot of help along the way with some friends and family supporting me.

Where am I going?

I would like to think I know where I am going, but that is not really the case at the moment. COVID has made me take some shifts in my career plans. At that moment I am in the recruitment process for two different companies. Ryder Systems and Cintas. Both have different career paths, both that I have a passion for. But it is up to whichever gives the offer first, or who gives the better offer.

Overall, my life was not really calculated but I believe that is what make me, me. And I can’t really ask for more.

This blog post is a culmination of what we have learned in the class and also a culmination of the experiences that I have had in my life.
