<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. What am I good at?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When I reflect on what I’m good at, the one thing that comes to mind is working well with others. I can look back on past jobs as well as when I was in school and can see that I generally got along with just about anyone I came in contact with. I can be very opinionated, but do a good job of setting differences aside and beings peoples friend first and foremost. Even though this isn’t a hard skill(vs a soft skill), I believe it can help me grow and achive the career and future that I want. One thing that comes to mind is that this can help me in the management field as managing relationships can be a big part of the job. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. What do I value?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the biggest things I value is family and happiness. I think these things go hand in hand. Overall its not my aspiration to climb the corporate ladder. Yes I want to make good money, but my happiness doesn’t come from where I’m at in my career. Rather I believe I am most happy when I am spending time with family and friends. In my life I want to find the right balance between my work and home life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. How did I get here?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When I look back at all the decisions I have made in regard to my schooling and career, I can see a clear point where I started valuing my happiness from spending time with those I care about over what I was doing job wise. I had a big moment my second year of college that allowed me to branch off from the pathway I was on and start and new path that led to me doing more things I enjoy. ultimately this is what i want to continue to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Where am I going?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Overall, its my hope to be financially sound in the future so that my wife and I can start a family and be comfortable. When I ask myself where I’m going, my mind automatically goes to what the status of my family is. I honestly don’t really care to much about the type of job I have as long as it fits in with what my family and I want to do. Like I mentioned earlier, my happiness and life goals aren’t necessarily tethered to my career. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 1. What am I good at?
