Articles in medical journals coldly describe the faces of people with Moebius syndrome as &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1111\/j.1399-0004.2006.00649.x\" target=\"_blank\">mask-like<\/a>.&#8221; I always found this description confusing and even dehumanizing.
