My typical day is like solving a puzzle, joining with others to share challenges and ideas, and getting ever closer to functional solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any tips you have for individuals seeking to start this career or do you know if there are scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career?<\/strong>
My advice for anyone who is seeking a more diverse path through STEM is to not feel like you have to pick one career field and commit to that for the rest of your working life. Pick what interests you now, really dive into it, and enjoy it. If you find that you love it, then stick with it! But if it eventually gets boring, you have an interesting opportunity to try something new, or another field catches your interest later on, there is nothing to stop you from changing lanes. Your career may be more of a journey than a destination. A good foundation in any STEM discipline will give you the tools you need to keep learning and growing professionally for many years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
