I was raised in Eastern Oregon. I was a teacher for 20 years before joining OSU Extension Open Campus. I live in Grant County. I am excited to help youth in career and educational choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making a difference with youth and my community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you get to your career?<\/strong>
In a round about way. I began in Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does your average day look like on your job?<\/strong>
Chaos! It is different everyday which makes things very fun. Meetings with partners, meetings with students, meetings with stakeholders<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any tips you have for individuals seeking to start this career or do you know if there are scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career?<\/strong>
There are internships and scholarships. Any career requires experiences that are diverse. If you have work experience you can connect to many different options. Don’t be afraid to change your mind or decide something isn’t for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
