Brief Personal and Professional Biography:<\/strong>
I live and work in Prineville, Oregon. I work for Oregon State University Extension in Open Campus with College and Career Access support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is one highlight of your career field?<\/strong>
Getting to support students and families in finding their career and educational path and hopefully finding something they love to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you get to your career?<\/strong>
After helping my daughter with her college and scholarship search, I realized that the system was much more complicated than when I had attended a university and wanted to help other students and parents work through it. I was hired as the Future Center Coordinator at Crook County High School and helped them create a career\/college center and bring back the ASPIRE program. Later, I was hired to do similar work for Oregon State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does your average day look like on your job?<\/strong>
Every day is different in my job, depending on who I need to meet with, speak to or help. I work with students, parents, community members and serve on several boards in the areas. Lots of meetings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
