I meet people when they’re dealing with a big mess and help them through it.
What is one highlight of your career field?
Every day, there’s something new to figure out.
How did you get to your career?
When I was 22 years old, I needed a job that paid more than minimum wage and didn’t take a college degree. Insurance and Risk Management fit the bill because it’s mostly “on the job” training and helping people (which I love).
What does your average day look like on your job?
I gather information about the cost to repair and replace property damaged from fires, water leaks, car wrecks or property that’s stolen.
