Job Application Experiences

When thinking back to the job I applied for last, I remember the company having applications available on many platforms including LinkedIn, Handshake, and their own website. I was able to easily navigate their website and it had a lot of useful information included in it. They seemed to have a lot of openings for interns and used a lot of word of mouth and their recruiters to show their interest in applications.

With a recruiter reaching out from this company as well, sometimes I think that companies are desperate and just need a quantity of people to fill roles when their recruiters reach out multiple times. I believe this company had a great balance of recruiters communication with potential candidates because they did not overdo it with reaching out. It did make me have a strong desire to work for the company because I found interest in their professionalism. Before I even had my first interview with the company I felt very cared for and comfortable with the HR team making a great first impression on me.

I found the company to be very professional in the application process and I could navigate it easily along with a lot of my questions about the company and position were answered with little research because it is very public information of the job descriptions for all positions in the company. This made a lasting impression on me because I enjoyed how much public information there was on the company and the roles within and their recruiting style.
