Week #9: Blog Assignment

Dealing with stress is something I have done for my whole life. I deal with it on a daily basis but over the years I have learned to manage it. Along the way I have learned a few things:

Firstly, it’s essential to understand what specifically triggers my stress. I reflect on the situations or tasks that tend to cause the most stress. By identifying these triggers, I can be more aware and prepared when they arise. This self-awareness allows me to develop strategies to cope with stress proactively. This helped me overall, realize what I should do when it comes to stress.

Secondly, time management is crucial for stress management. I prioritize my tasks based on their importance and urgency. Creating a schedule that allocates sufficient time for each task helps me to avoid feeling overwhelmed and pressured by looming deadlines. Effective time management allows me to work more efficiently and reduces stress associated with time constraints. This is very helpful when it comes to work but also school right now as my senior year is coming to an end. So learning this early enough has been good for my future career and endeavors.

Lastly, I have learned to keep growing in my professional career. I have learned to seek opportunities for continuous development and growth. This can include attending workshops, taking courses, or networking with professionals in my field. Expanding my knowledge and skills can boost confidence, and enhance my ability to handle challenges, and reduce stress associated with feeling unprepared. Which I have been doing and this has helped me grow a lot.

Through these tests and articles I have read, I have learned a lot about myself too. I think as time goes on I learn about myself more and more everyday. I do have a lot of determination and passion for things and sometimes stress does get in the way of things. As I get older, like I said, I am learning to deal with this stress that is on my plate everyday.
