I believe that I am very good at being social and creating a positive connection with others. As someone who deals with anxiety, I am reminded that many others deal with this as well. This thought leads me to get out of my comfort zone in social situations and talk to others to build connections, make them feel included, and create as much enjoyment for myself and others in all situations.
I highly value respect, family, and connections with others. This can sometimes pose a difficult task, because you cannot satisfy everyone at once. That being said, I always try my best to make sure my family and friends are always treated with the utmost respect. Family and friends are the most important things to me.
I am attending Oregon State because my older brother went to school here. I am majoring in Business Management because one of my brothers’ friends told me about it, and it sounded interesting to me. I have had the best time of my life at Oregon State, and I am very happy with the major that I chose, but reflecting back on how I ended up here makes me think that I need to make more major decisions based on what I want rather than what others are doing around me.
Once I graduate, I will be heading back home to Bellingham, Washington. I am still currently waiting to hear back from a few potential employers in the film and advertising industry in Bellingham. I understand that things can always change, but the path I am currently on involves pursuing a career in filmmaking.
