After taking the IPIP Test and answering all of the questions that were given, in order to evaluate those five board personality domain of the Five-Factor model (Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism, and the last one is Openness to Experience. I found an interesting and expected thing about the result. Where, the result showed that, for Extraversion segment which measure how talkative are we, and how enjoyable are we in a crowded. I got an average score (49) and told that I am not pretty enjoyable to be in a big party with a lot of people, and prefer to spend my time alone. Moreover, another aspect is Agreeableness. For this segment, we were measured how trustable and cooperative are we? I got pretty high score (73) and the result showed that I can be trusted, cooperative to get to work with and I love to help other people genuinely rewarding. In addition, for Conscientiousness, I got pretty high score (95) for this segment and the result showed that I always set my goals very clearly and pursue my goals with determination. For Neuroticism (58) , I got an average score for this segment and it showed that my level of emotional reactivity is typical with the general population. Also, stressful and frustrating situations are somewhat that become the biggest challenges for me currently, but I am generally able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. Lastly, Openness to Experience, that is measuring how imaginative or creative can we be? It is talking about in what level of confidence are we in challenge ourselves to try something new? The result showed that my score tends to be low (16) and it is indicating that I like to think in plain and simple terms. I tend do not or could say afraid of trying something new or unfamiliar either it is risky or not. In addition, potential employer looking at these results and might say my strengths are Agreeableness, Consciousness, low score in Neuroticism. It is because I always try my best to finish my work on time as well as the quality. Moreover, I always try to be as cooperative as I could and try to think first what should I do or talk to others in order to avoid offending others. Because I do believe that level of sensitiveness is different for each individual. Nevertheless, my weakness is Openness to experience and Extraversion. It is because I am too afraid of trying something new or unfamiliar enough for me. Then, it might be influence the way I look or experience new challenge or task from the company. Also, for Extraversion, I might not feel comfortable enough if having group project frequently or have an assignment to lead a presentation for customers or upper division level in the company, and have to deal with a lot of different people who have different perspectives, backgrounds, point of views, and other factors.
