Our team came up with a great microsite recently. It was one of those projects that grew organically out of collaboration and experimentation…nothing about it was planned in advance.

Darryl was working on a video for the Spring Fashion Show put on by the School of Design and Human Environment. One of our best kept secrets is that OSU has one of the nation’s top fashion design programs, so it made sense to give this video more of a platform to raise its profile.

Kegan was experimenting with a full-width responsive layout at the same time the video was in development, and he thought this video project would be a good fit. Oliver and Santiago added design polish and .gif animations that breathed life into the page, and Callie drafted a story that captured the immediacy of the event. The resulting page is a responsive, tablet-friendly layout that immerses users in the experience of preparing for the fashion show.

It’s a great example of how strong projects can arise out of experimentation and curiosity.
