Join us at Widmer Brewery for this career networking event among UO, OSU, and PSU alumni, all of whom have served (or continue to serve) our country.

Learn how to leverage your military service and higher education experience to effectively transition into or advance your civilian career from a panel of successful veterans. And if you have success tips of your own, here’s your chance to help a fellow vet and expand your professional network!

Seeking mature, energetic, multi-talented, engineering student to fulfill part time manufacturing technician position. Must be a flexible, dependable, team oriented individual a fast learner and proactive. Programing/mechanical/electrical experience required.

Programs and operates production equipment; Reads /follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Has knowledge of computer systems and mechanical assemblies. Identities and distinguish between electronic components and assemblies. Performs manufacturing tests and troubleshooting and reports findings. Performs data entry into inventory and BOM management system. Conducts other tasks as assigned. Works under immediate supervision.

BeaversSalute Game November 15th

The athletic department is honored to honor those that have served or who is currently serving our country and are offering free tickets to all active or veteran military members,up to 3 family members or loved ones. They are giving away 1000 tickets on first come,first serve basis.
All you need to do is contact the ticket office at (541) 737-4455 and provide proof of service.

AppleCare College Program

AppleCare will be back on campus on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.  They’ll be hosting a “Lunch & Learn” from noon – 1pm in Austin 442.   If  you would  prefer to meet with them one-on-one or have them host another workshop/info session then they are happy to schedule some office hours at an alternative time on the 12th out of a preferred location.

 

They are currently reviewing applications for a January 5, 2014 start date and will begin to interview soon.  AppleCare is very excited to see some OSU students apply!!!
