UHDS Residential Conferences and Building Services is currently hiring our student leadership team for Spring and Summer 2014. This team consists of Lead Building Services Assistants (2), Conference Building Managers (4), and a Scholar Housing Manager (1). We are looking for students who are excited to lead a team of students and will ensure our guests and residents have an outstanding experience in our halls. Lead Building Services Assistants lead a team of six Building Services Assistants. Lead BSAs work with Residential Conferences Management to coordinate work related to bed lofting, linen and laundering, and related tasks. They will develop and lead spring and summer trainings. Lead BSAs will gain supervision, work management, and quality control experience and skills—and will receive support and guidance from our management team. Compensation: $9.70-10.45 per hour. Conference Building Managers will gain supervision, management, and significant customer service experience. CBMs manage a variety of logistics and client needs, develop and lead parts of staff training. CBMs will receive a high level of support, and Residential Conferences Management will work with you to deepen your problem solving and critical thinking skills. The Scholar Housing Manager works with Residential Conference Management to ensure the success of our Scholar Housing program. The SHM will gain significant administrative and customer service experience in this position. The SHM will manage a variety of logistics and client needs, develop and lead parts of staff training, and manage the Scholar Housing Front Desk. As with the other positions, the SHM will receive a high level of support. The SHM earns $1920/month and have the option to live on or off campus.
