Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The 16th Uppsala Conference (UPPCON 2023) is rapidly coming together in Corvallis, Oregon. We hope that you will enjoy both the scientific program and the social activities. We have added a page of confirmed speakers and the agenda will be loaded shortly.

UPPCON was first organized by Professor Roman Zubarev in 2003 and has developed into the premier international meeting for alternative fragmentation techniques. The impact of these methods on peptide and protein analysis has been increasingly recognized. This conference provides a venue for speakers from around the world to discuss new insights into radical ion chemistry, the latest developments in methodology and instrumentation, as well as the challenges for biomolecule characterization.

The conference is hosted by Oregon State University. Our program will run between Sunday evening through Wednesday, with social activities each evening to visit the area. A poster session will feature additional contributions for in-depth discussion. More information about this year’s conference is now available on the website as we finalize details and support.
