DESCRIPTION: Two prominent scholars, Thomas Christensen (James T. Shotwell Professor of International Relations,  School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University) and Ryan Hass (Ryan Hass is director of the John L. Thornton China Center and the Chen-Fu and Cecilia Yen Koo Chair in Taiwan Studies,  Brookings Institution) will reflect on Beijing’s increasingly aggressive strategic position on Taiwan and measures that the US and Taiwan could take to maintain peace in the Taiwan Straits.
