Welcome to the 2015 Sea Grant Academy!

Hello 2015 Sea Grant Academy folks!

Here are a few basics about this two-week program:

Week 1 will be in Annapolis, Maryland at the Historic Inns of Annapolis (Historic Inns of Annapolis), March 1-6.  Your lodging and meals will be covered from Sunday evening (March 1) through lunch on Friday, March 6.  We will be staying in double-occupancy rooms.
Week 2 will be in Oregon October 4-9.  Additional information, including a detailed agenda, will be shared at our Annapolis meeting.

Travel to Week 1:  The closest, and most convenient, airport to Annapolis is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI).  Once your travel plans are set please send your flight arrival and department times, and airport if it’s different than BWI, to Megan Kleibacker (megan.kleibacker@oregonstate.edu).  Although ground transportation to and from the airport is your responsibility, we will do our best to link you up with others who may be arriving at relatively the same time.  While there may be others, here is one link to an airport shuttle that serves the Historic Inns.  For those of you driving, please also send us your estimated arrival time, and let us know if you’d be willing to shuttle 1-2 people from the airport on your way to Annapolis.
Save the date:  There will be an webinar on February 11 at 10AM Pacific Time to answer any questions you may have about Academy logistics or planned activities (we’ll send that information as the date gets closer).

We’re really looking forward to working with you in Annapolis – and be sure to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
