Rough seas

O.K., it does get rough out here. We have been getting slammed all morning with an occasional downpour of rain. the rough seas just make everything (including just standing or walking) much, much harder and instruments start breaking down. The Optical plankton counter is now broken and is being taken apart.

Half-way

Yesterday afternoon we passed the half-way point. Things are still going relatively smoothly although rough weather late last night and early this morning is causing difficulties with bubbles of the fish acoustics system.
