NEW! Discovering Your Strengths: Professional development workshop hosted by the Professional Faculty Leadership Association. Effective leaders know what they do well and find ways to apply their strengths productively. In this session, participants will explore their results from StrengthsFinder. Applications for PCOSW scholarships and event co-sponsorships are now being accepted for the summer funding period. The President’s Commission on the Status of Women provides funding to women faculty, students, and staff who are pursuing professional development or conducting research, outreach, or creative projects related to women’s issues. Scholarships average $500, and the project must be completed after July 1.   • Decided to bring the old vision statement (from 2014) with us to the next meeting to re-draft
  • Talked about applying for professional development funds
  • Discussed the possibility of a future meeting with core leadership in HFC
  • Michaella is going to bring some information to share at our next meeting
