I read about T-cell Receptors and Prions. We encountered both in BI 212, so I figured I’d check them out again. Pretty cool!

Nice variety, Beach Bum. The T-cell receptor is a membrane protein. The prion protein is a soluble protein … until it turns into insoluble amyloid as the prion disease advances… shudder!

I researched the Dengue Virus (tropical virus), which changes shapes when in acid, and Alpha – Amylase, which begins the process of starch digestions. Also, I signed up for a nickname but I have no idea how to post, my nickname is Non-Government Organization however. Thanks
