While taking the personality tests I learned a lot about myself. The first test was a Type A Personality Test. This test asked me a series of questions that gave me a snapshot at the end. I ranked 46 in impatience and irritability, this means that I need to do better in stressful situations the test also said When I am stressed or frustrated, I can lash out at others or end up stewing in anger or frustration. I do not ever lash out but I can see how it talks about holding things in for myself. The next test I took was Coping & Stress Management Skills Test. This test showed that I use problem-focused strategies to cope with stress. Although using these methods may not be very effective when dealing with situations I can’t change or control, They are useful in controllable situations.
After my results, I realized I needed to look into ways to help manage stress. It turns out one of the key things is actually diet. I feel like I could work on diet first because it is something I can control. The diet helps with energy so I can stay focused during the day, it also helps with healthy sleep of done right as well. Work-related stress has been a bigger problem each year. this happens when employees are being pushed to the max every day with very little knowledge. Companies are all experiencing work-related stress, especially out middle and lower class. They are forced to work long hours, meet deadlines, and be jack of all trades. This is a lot to handle and eventually, it can push people to their breaking point. To avoid this organizations need to give their employees the knowledge and skills to complete the tasks by the deadlines.
