“casasr” is the online identity assigned to Rubén Casas by Oregon State University, the sponsoring institution of this weblog.  Otherwise, Rubén consumes popular culture in unhealthy amounts and gives it back, with commentary,  to unsuspecting but eager-to-learn college students.  Or on this site.  If it’s not raining he also rides his bike in and around the greater Portland area.  Which means he hardly rides his bike in and around the Portland area. And now that he’s completing PhD studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Composition & Rhetoric, he rides in and around Portland even less.
