Graduate Fellowship Opportunities:
1. Ice cores: bi-polar chronology of ice core records including the new WAIS Divide (Antarctica) ice core
2. Developing replicate isotope records from speleothems from Vancouver Island and California
3. Adopting non-stationary and non-linear time series methods for the analysis of paleoclimate data sets

Graduate students working on PALEOVAR can enroll through
* OSU’s College of Oceanic & Atmospheric Sciences,
* OSU’s Department of Geosciences, or
* U of O’s Department of Geography
depending on their specific interests and backgrounds. PALEOVAR faculty in these units collaborate closely. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to contact Nick Pisias (pisias@coas.oregonstate.edu) or other PALEOVAR faculty to discuss their potential interests.
Students applying for graduate work should do so through the standard application process for one of the three academic units listed above. Applicants should clearly indicate their interest in the PALEOVAR project in their application materials.
