As surely as autumn leaves fall, there’s another OSU Center for Teaching and Learning symposium on the horizon. CTL’s Fall Teaching Symposium is coming up on Thursday, October 24, at the Memorial Union, and you’re invited!
You can register for anything from a single hour-long session to a full day exploring the symposium’s three tracks: Promoting Learning, Ensuring Rigor and Supporting Inquiry. The sessions will cover a wide range of topics such as rubrics, PowerPoint, Blackboard, IRB, classroom interaction and student motivation. The all-star slate of presenters includes Kathy Becker-Blease, Mary Beisiegel, Amy Belcastro, Jonan Donaldson, Jon Dorbolo, Milo Koretsky, Melanie Kroening, Lisa Leventhal, Robin Pappas, Scott Peterson and Kay Sagmiller. Registration is free, and continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
See the full agenda and register now on the CTL website. Join us for this important exchange of ideas, techniques and resources; hope to see you there!
