The Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition and Preventive Health invites all CPHHS students (undergraduate or graduate) to apply for three paid community-based fellowships focusing on healthy eating and active living sponsored by the OSU Moore Family Center Healthy Community Outreach Program. Student fellows will work alongside OSU Extension Service faculty and staff who are working across the state to improve community health. The three community-based fellowships are located in Hood River, Redmond and Corvallis, Oregon. Students are expected to live in the local community for the duration of the summer 2020 fellowship. Some assistance finding local housing may be available. The application deadline is April 18, 2020.

This program, formerly known as the Faculty-Student Mentor Program (FSMP), will match you as a co-mentor with a faculty member in your college to lead crucial discussions on navigating college, achieving success, and getting more out of the OSU experience with a group of 3-4 new-to-OSU students. This is a paid position that will help you make connections with faculty and peers and develop resume-building leadership skills! We are particularly interested in undergraduate students who identify as first generation, low-income, underrepresented, transfer, or have experience in the University Exploratory Studies Program. Want to find out more? Fill out our interest form by April 30 to be added to our information sessions occurring later in Spring 2020!
