Fall Career Expo

On Thursday, October 24th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, join over 100 employers at the 2019 Fall Career Expo! These employers are interested in filling jobs and internships in the arts, humanities, business, and healthcare. You can contact the Career Development Center for more questions, or show up on the 24th at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center.

Peace Corp Information Session

Interested in learning more about the Peace Corps? This information session is put on by Scot Roskelly, the OSU Peace Corps recruiter. Students will learn techniques to make them a competitive applicant for the Peace Corps and more about this 27-month service commitment. Attend the information session on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6-7:00 pm in Strand 260, or email Scot Roskelly for an appointment if you can’t make it!

[Re]Vision Week at OSU

Join the Wellness Agents, Student Health Services, and many other campus partners in their effort to Revise the culture at OSU to prevent high risk drinking and sexual violence. [Re]Vision Week is this week, October 21st to October 25th. This is a week of events dedicated to dialogue, awareness and education to shift cultural norms around drinking and the root causes of sexual violence. There will be the [Re]Vision Empowerment Block Party on Friday, October 25th from 2-4:00 pm in the SEC Plaza.

INTO OSU is hiring

Apply to be an INTO OSU Student Services Assistant. This position is open to any OSU student, and includes duties such as, Welcome Desk customer service and student engagement support. Feeling stressed out during midterms? Want some quiet time in the middle of a hectic day? Come to the BEavers HERE NOW: Guided Meditation Sessions. Relax with a different, guided 15 minute meditation every Tuesday and Wednesday of Fall Term at 3:00 pm in the MU Wellness Nook!

Pre-Therapy and Allied Health Club

The OSU PTAH Club supports students with interests in the allied health fields, including PT, OT, AT, PA, and nursing. Their goal is to provide students the opportunity to advance their knowledge in a field of interest, connect with other students, provide volunteer and job opportunity information, and raise awareness for individuals with disabilities through an annual fundraising event. They’re meeting is tonight, Monday, October 21st at 6:00 pm in Milam 123, with guest speaker Ryan Bannister, Director of Centralized Application Services and Student Recruitment for the American Physical Therapy Association.

OSU Human Services Resource Center

Did you know OSU has a Human Services Resource Center (HSRC)? This is an amazing resource for students on campus that helps low-income students stay focused on academics. They have various opportunities like, Food Security Programs, Textbook Lending Programs, Temporary Housing, and much more! You can find the HSRC on the edge of campus at Champinefu Lodge, 1030 SW Madison Ave.
