OSU Global Opportunities Internship Credits

BlueEnergy, through OSU GO, is offering an 8-week summer 2017 internship opportunity for PHHS students, who will earn 12 credits of H 410 while learning about international public health issues and implementing innovative solutions in a warm and diverse Nicaraguan community. Spanish not required but helpful. Apply online before Jan. 25!

Global Opportunity Information Session and Panel

Wednesday, January 25, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, Women’s Building Room 205. Learn about CPHHS faculty-led summer programs in Bangalore (India), Dominican Republic, and London from the faculty members leading the programs, hear from current CPHHS students about their experiences studying overseas, review the application process, get your questions answered, and be inspired to explore the world this coming year or in the future!

Charles and Elaine Mellen Sutherland College of Public Health and Human Sciences Education Scholarship Fund:

For the 2017-2018 academic year the Benton Community Foundation will be offering a $1,500 scholarship to a student enrolled at Oregon State in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences. For more information, see:

Fellowship Program

The Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship Program is designed to provide support to active Phi Kappa Phi members as they prepare to enter their first year of graduate or professional studies in the upcoming 2017 academic year. The Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship program awards 6 Fellowships of $15,000 and 54 Fellowships of $5,000. One requirement is that the applicant may not have already earned more than nine semester hours of graduate/professional school credits by the deadline of April 15, 2017. Mentorship Program

URSA Engage is designed to establish mentoring relationships for undergraduates early in their program at OSU. The program will provide $750 for the undergraduate URSA Engage awardees. Undergraduate Application Deadline: Jan. 31, 2017. For more information and to register, see: URSA Engage.
