Looking for ways to increase your professional and networking skills? LinkedIn is a popular and powerful tool connecting career-minded Beavers everywhere. This webinar, hosted by the OSU Alumni Association, is designed to help OSU students and alumni maximize the benefits of this free tool. The webinar is scheduled for June 4 from 12:00 -1:00 pm. Woebot: A new perspective on Mental Health

It was designed for college students by faculty at Stanford School of Medicine who want to make mental health accessible. Woebot has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, requires little time, is humorous and fun, and offers tailored chats based on your mood at the moment. 499/599 Geography of COVID-19 1-credit seminar

A newly developed seminar, GEOG 499/599 “ST/THE GEOGRAPHY OF COVID-19″, is now available for Fall 2020 registration. This one-credit seminar will feature rotating faculty from Geography and may include guest faculty from other programs, such as Public Health. The seminar will touch on a range of topics, including COVID-19 geovisualization, process of dispersal and trajectory, multi-scalar and spatial relationships of care, health disparities and underserved communities, reimagining urban sustainability, changes in air quality and greenhouse gas concentrations, the remaking of oceanscapes, effects in refugee settlements, and pandemic-induced “disaster capitalism”. There are no prerequisites for the class, and anyone at OSU is welcome to enroll. Contact Annie Hommel with questions..
