• New: Buoy Tales. Visitor Center volunteers  Michael Courtney and Annie Thorp will blog their April 2010 research cruise aboard the RV Wecoma. We’ll be putting the blog’s RSS feed on the Visitor Center Web site to provide instant updates as they post them.
• Archived:  Sounds from the Southern Ocean – Bill Hanshumakers 2006 journal of his experiences on an Antarctic research expedition, which got us started on all this.

• Communicating Climate Change – Joe Cone’s audio and video interviews with leading social scientists on the challenges of communicating the complexities of climate change with the public.
• Ocean Learning – Podcast version of short video clips compiled for use with iPods at the HMSC Visitor Center (also available on iTunes)

Wikis

Easy document sharing, group editing and discussion, ala Wikipedia;  useful for team collaborative efforts. Note: OSU is no longer offering wiki support, so we can’t set up more of these, but older ones may be repurposed for new uses.

• Sea Grant Regional Research Collaborations (used byJulie Risien for  the West Coast Regional Research and Information Planning Process, and by Joe Cone for his two SARP climate projects)
• The Human Dimensions of Wave Power (For participants in Flaxen C0nway’s collaborative project)
• Sea Grant Communications Wiki (a place for the Communications team to develop, share, discuss and archive internal policies and procedures.)

File-sharing

• Sharepoint site (New secure file-sharing and collaboration site for all OSG faculty, staff and advisory council members. If you haven’t made yourselves familiar with this yet, you should.)
• Pacific Northwest Aquavets – A Google Groups site Tim Miller-Morgan uses to share and discuss content with professional peers around the region.
