Different ways Companies Incorporate HR Management

One thing that all companies and mangers must focus on when analyzing their performance is HR management. Each company must decide how to manage their employees and see what they can do to retain such employees over long periods of time. I looked at feedback of employees that work for Hilton, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, and Wegmans Food Market Inc to see how different companies focus on HR management in their fields of work. Employees at the Hilton seem to be very close to each other and when asking to describe their job a lot responded with “family”. To me this shows that at Hilton they value working together closely getting to know and like working with your fellow employees. They also provided benefits that pleased employees also being a major reason they stay. At Wegmans Food Market inc. was also very similar to the Hilton in their approach to create a welcoming, caring, and diverse work environment. Also like the Hilton, Wegmans employees feel at home with who they work with and enjoy their environment higher than the national level. The next company I analyzed was Cheesecake Factory incorporated. At the Cheesecake Factory as with the other companies, seemed to mainly focus on having a welcoming environment that connects employees on a family level. They try to focus on liking the people you work with the improve your work experience. With all the companies I looked at they all focused on the same things to an extent, main focuses at companies were to make every employee feel welcomed and at home to improve their production and their moral. These companies follow the baseline of the kind of manager I wish to be. I hope that my employees love their work environment and feel comfortable around me and their peers. As a manager I would like employees to feel empowered in their work and not have to rely on the leadership of others and being more self-instructed and make their own decisions. I believe that when employees feel empowered, they will perform at a higher level and feel more involved in the productions.
