For one of my last entries I decided to focus on naturalism which is in opposition to my own philosophies. Naturalism pursues the knowledge of what does exist and what does not exist and proving this through a simple trial and error system.
If I were a contemporary writer I would follow this philosophy completely. However my views on life are far beyond the scopes of normal measurement so I am unable to do so. My methods of finding answers may follow this but I pursue more other worldly pursuits to be considered a naturalist, though I find insight from some most helpful.
Naturalism attempts to thwart my overall belief that this world has endless possibilities. If we were to think logically the idea of God, or good and evil, would simply be nonexistent which is sad to think about. Endless possibilities have no limitations and naturalism is the pursuit of knowing these limitations and closing them of further discussion, which I cannot agree with.
When I asked others about naturalism they seemed to agree with it. They find naturalism far more valuable in daily pursuits than I do, but I believe this is society once again changing our essence so the pursuit of dreams becomes simply beyond our reach when it should be the complete opposite. Without dreams we lose sight of our true pursuits and thus lead lives that fall under mediocre rather than exceptional.
Naturalism attempts to overshadow essence which was a previous post. Your true persona goes beyond what we attempt to know and attempt to understand something far grander than what we previously have known. We cannot lose sight of our essence or we lose ourselves and all the possibilities that we could have achieved.
