Experiences with Discrimination

I feel that an outstanding claim of discrimination would change the way I felt about the company. However, that claim would need to be backed up with proof as I would not take such a claim seriously without evidence. Furthermore, I would give the company a chance to address those claims before I fully decide how I feel about the company. If the company acknowledged their wrongdoing and vowed to make amends, then I would be more likely to not change my view of the company. If the company refuses to acknowledge the claims or sound unsympathetic then I would be more likely to change the way I felt about the company. This would influence my decision to support the company as I would not want to back a company that is discriminating against others. I would not want to give them my money nor my support because I would feel that would mean that I am on their side. That I agree with their actions, and I could not do that. I have faced discrimination before, and I would never support that happening to others. With that in mind, discrimination claims that are warranted would cause me to change whether I apply to that company in the future. I would not want to be associated with those claims. If the company acknowledges wrongdoing and vows to make amends, then I could see myself applying to work for that company. I would like to think that I would be a part of the solution to making that company a better place and help correct the actions that caused the discrimination charges.
