Men’s Development and Engagement, currently a part of Intercultural Student Services, is focused on encouraging OSU’s men to engage in a process of positive gender identity development with the hope of creating a safer environment for all. Founded in 2011 the program is run by a graduate teaching assistant and assisted by interested students, faculty, and staff. The program continues to grow and serve the entire campus community.

Mission: We create a diverse and collaborative learning environment that positively influences men’s development.

We are committed to:

  • The diverse experiences of men.
  • The development of responsible, authentic, and compassionate masculine identities.
  • Challenging power, privilege, and oppression.
  • Creating an inclusive and safe campus environment for all.
