Tools/Process used:

The most helpful tool I used was Microsoft Excel.  This program was great to put in my numbers for the Current Finances and Budget Report. I typed them in and then it gave me my total expenses input and output. I ended up saving this in a PDF file and then embedded the link. This was the easiest way for me to put my data in the blog.

There was a few websites that I used to get information on expenses for my analysis. I used the Expedia travel site to get my information on hotels and flights. I also looked up some tips on traveling to France and an estimate of how much they would be. There was a website called Paris-Walking Tours, I found pricing, history, hours, events, appearances in films, and much more.

Personal principles, policies, or intentions:

I would definitely use these tools again for another trip. I liked how I could map out my finances and know what to expect. I love to plan out everything and know ahead of time. The Excel was a great way to track finances for every month. As soon as I get a better income, I plan to start keeping track of my finances more often.

My parents always use Excel and they say it’s very helpful. I now see why it is so helpful. I use internet banking and pay my bills online. This is a great way to save paper and better the environment. Everything is on the internet now and if it isn’t, it probably will be within the year. Technology is rapidly growing and especially computers. I’ve heard there is even a way to scan checks over the internet and have them deposited. I’m sure I’ll use this in the future, instead of going into the bank.
