Discussion board 2

Basically, in this paper the author talks about the same recombineering principles that we talk about in class and shows how they can be applies to bacterial cells. The author also talks about how using clustered (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein (Cas) system allows for more efficient application of E. coli than other previous systems.

I personally know very little about bacteria cloning via vectors. If its anything like plant cloning its the induced or artifictial reproduction of an organism through hormones or a modified environ such that it produces a genetically similar copy to the sample used in the initial process.
