About

Published by

Latinos in pre-med is a student run club with the intentions of gathering Latino students with a similar interest in pursuing a career in the world of medicine. However, this is not say that one has to be a Latino in order to join. People of all back rounds are welcomed and encouraged to join! The founders consist of students of all ages. We range from freshman all the way to seniors. This wide range allows the older, more experienced students to share their knowledge they have acquired in their path to obtain a career in medicine.

As members, we will encourage, expose, and endeavor multi-culture backgrounds to a potential occupational opportunity in the world of medicine. We will become role models in our community by actively engaging in volunteerism. United as members of a club, we will support those seeking help, encourage those looking for motivation and aid those in the challenging path to the medical field.

I am a student at OSU currently enrolled in Anthropology 313 Peoples of the world: Latin America and the Caribbean and would like to interview one of the students in your association for a class paper. I couldn’t find any readily available email contacts, but if you could get back to me that would be greatly appreciated
