Class Perspective

That one-credit bowling class felt more like a box to check than a real benefit for my degree. It didn’t contribute to my skills or knowledge in a meaningful way, but I had to take it to fulfill my credit requirements. In contrast, my economics class was a challenging experience that required focus and perseverance. Even though I struggled at times, it played a significant role in my academic growth, giving me valuable insights that supported my college success and continue to benefit my understanding of complex financial and economic concepts for the future.

The economics course taught me to think critically about resource allocation, decision-making, and the factors that drive markets, all of which are applicable in various career fields. I had to push myself to grasp difficult concepts, which built my resilience and problem-solving abilities. Through this challenge, I developed a deeper appreciation for how economics shapes industries and influences daily life. This understanding has prepared me to analyze financial situations and make informed decisions, which will be essential for my future career.
