First blog post NMC 399
This first blog post is dedicated to talking about the fact that I need to strive to work harder at my school work this week. After Dead week, Finals week, Spring Break week, and going home for Easter weekend, I have had a difficult time getting back into the swing of things regarding getting my homework done. Even as I write this I put off doing this homework assignment after work, enjoying the nice Corvallis weather we for once had, and going out to eat at Flat Tail Brewery with my friends for buffalo waffle fries tonight. This weekend was a hectic one what with being so excited for my friends to finally all see each other after being so busy with the finals, spring break, and Easter that I did not get a lot done. Compared to having longer breaks after fall and winter term, going right back into classes for the start of spring term is hard to do. Sometimes I wish Oregon State would instate a CONNECT week at the beginning of each term to settle in before the new term starts. Freshman NEED that right? I think so. So here’s to getting more done this week and for the next 8 weeks than I did for the last four weeks.
