In 2007, Allyson founded the Women Who Tech Telesummit. This telesummit serves for women who are seeking to get involved in technology. It provides women with the tools and resources necessary to break new ground in technology and social media and allows them to use their tech savvy skills to transform the world and inspire change. Over the last three years of Women Who Tech Telesummits, Kapin states there have been between 600 and 800 women in attendance. Allyson is also a founding partner of Rad Campaign, where she leads the firm’s client and
online strategic services (Committee Bios | Women Who Tech).

Kapin also utilizes the tools she teaches in order to reach a much larger audience on a regular, daily basis. More than fifteen thousand people follow her on Twitter, while her Facebook and LinkedIn groups have over three thousand members, combined.
