Teach: Multiple Pictures on Facebook Cover Photo April 12th, 2012
Back in January, Facebook announced Timeline will be non-optional for all users but that it will be gradual, so if you don’t have Timeline yet then you will soon. One of the features on Timeline is the cover photo on everyones’ wall, as I’m sure people have noticed by now. According to the actual Facebook Timeline page, it says that the cover photo is to “fill this wide, open space with a unique image that represents you best.” So basically Facebook is becoming more like a blog, plus the network. It’s really easy to upload any photo to your cover photo, but I feel like creating your own with more than one picture is a lot more fun! I knew add multiple photos to my cover photo was possible, but I didn’t know exactly how to do it until I saw a tutorial on Pinterest , so I decided to try it! I have created about three or four different ones because I get bored easily and I like creating them! Tweeting has thirteen different websites that can take you to a site where you can get a cover photo if you choose to get our cover photo a different way.
The objective of this lesson is to get creative! Before, Facebook had a general look for everyone, but with the new Timeline and especially the cover photo, you can really make it your own! It’s meant to be all about you, so now it’s time to use your creativity so people can see who you really are! By adding a collage of photos instead of just one, you have more room to be creative and to show more of you! It doesn’t even matter what kind of computer you have!
