Who is she: Galina Mindlin, M.D., Ph.D is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Supervising Attending Physician in the Department of Psychiatry in St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. She is Board Certified in psychiatry and neurology and has a Ph.D in neurophysiology and neuropsychology. Dr. Mindlin is the author of numerous articles on a variety of medical topics,

 Where she is from: She was born and trained in Russia. Besides her private practice in New York, she teaches at Columbia University and is a supervising attending physician in psychiatry at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital at Columbia.

What is her technology: Dr. Galina Mindlin, she treats patients with a variety of psychiatric illnesses in her New York City office, offers a unique and effective treatment for patients with insomnia, anxiety, and attention deficit and mood disorders. The treatment she uses is called Brain Music Therapy (BMT) and was developed at the Moscow Medical Academy by Professor Iakov Levine.
