Organized Data

I truly like everything to do with Microsoft Works, especially Excel. It is a fantastic way or organize data and get everything laid out in front of you. I had some issues in the beginning with remembering how to sum things without manually doing it but then once I remembered the basics it went very smooth. There is so much more that you can do through excel and my budget only hits the top of the ice burg. It did get a bit frustrating with all the different numbers and columns I was throwing on the page but once I figured out exactly what I wanted to be considered and seen it got easier.

Biggest Dreams

Everyone probably says that they want to travel the world – but does everyone actually get to do it? – I do! My dream is coming true – I am leaving in 4 months to Florence, Italy to finish off my college degree. Talk about going out with a bang!

If I was not going to Europe, some of my dreams would be:

- Living in Hawaii for a year

- Graduate from Bar-tending School

- Pay off my moms and dads debt

- Get my masters degree in education

- Take my mother and sister to Vegas

- Buy a house with a rap around porch, two stories, 10 acres, big red barn and a huge pond.

Once I complete my term abroad I will probably start saving for another big dream. Since this dream popped up out of no where, I had nothing prepared or any money in savings – so this dream is taking a lot out of my pocket.

My Financial progress involves a lot of loans and some scholarships. I am depending on my parents A LOT right now because my aid will not go through until the first term of OSU; I will already be in Italy at that point. So I have to come up with the money along time before any money gets to me from the government. I have only applied for one scholarship at this time but I plan on applying for every scholarship possible. I have a $500 achievement scholarship which will help out.

I am going to send a letter to all my family members telling them of my graduation in the winter and my plans to travel. I am hoping that I will receive some graduation money (I know that is selfish to say, but I am being honest), to help pay for the the up front costs.

My sister is helping me out a little bit because she wants to be apart of my adventure. I am thankful for all my families support but I am going to try and get as much scholarship money as possible to relieve the burden.
